Now Cody can rest easy when he's at the station and Noah and I are at home during tornado season. We are prepared! Our storm shelter is installed in the floor of our garage! It was a pretty simple and quick process. The crew came out at 8 am on a Tuesday and left around 2 pm that afternoon. They would have finished a little sooner, but Cody and the crew became such good buddies that Cody enlisted the crew to dig up our flower beds and tree stumps. The crew was happy to oblige. I think it's just because there was a backhoe and things to dig up. Men sure enjoy that kinda thing. (*wink)
Anyway, it's in and we are safe! There's room for Sissybear, our dog, and Mimi who will have to run fast from next door to make it. It is comforting to know that we have a spot that will protect us from approaching Oklahoma twisters. Amen to that.
