Do you see Gary England on the tv in the background? The day/evening of the Norman tornado I kept Noah distracted with an art project while Cody watched the weather. We don't want Noah to be fearful of weather, so we remain calm, but cautious during tornado season. Noah and I were painting on the pants when the tornado sirens went off. We started to head out the strom for our neighbor's storm shelter across the street, but by the time we were ready to walk out the door, it was over. The tornado literally was across the polo fields from our house. Crazy. Then it moved itself across Norman. Needless to say, we made a pretty cool mini me of Noah despite the storm. He drew the face and painted everything, but the Iron Man logo. I did that.
We also made a robot out of odds and ends around the house. He named it Starbyen of the King World. That's pronounced Star-bee-in. We have a pretty crafty kid.
