Noah had a great Valentine's Day despite the snow postponing his party at school. Cody and I normally choose not to celebrate since we have a wedding anniversary (it's kinda an over-rated holiday when we already love each other every day!), but we celebrated it this year for our little man!! I worked on actual Valentine's. Cody and Noah waited until I came home from school to open presents and exchange cards. Noah was excited to tear open his present from us and the cards that arrived via snail mail!! He loves his Valentines (and all the candy). The cards are sitting out on the bar in the kitchen. He goes over and "reads" them at least twice a day. :)

Opening his card from Mimi. Does she
know him or what? A T-Rex Valentine!!

Opening his Valentine from us. A Lightning McQueen one that sings Rascal
Flatts' remake of "Life is a Highway" when you open the card!!

We got him the mini-movie of
Kung Fu Panda's Ferocious Five. This had become a fast favorite.

And then to complete his Valentine present from Mommy and Daddy, a few Buzz and Woody heart shaped chocolates...which the dogs ate after we left for dinner. Stupid dogs. However, the boys took me to dinner at Cheddar's. Noah got Daddy a gift certificate to play a round of golf for two (Daddy and Noah) at
Earlywine. Noah got Mommy a new chain for her birthstone charm Daddy bought her when she had Noah. The birthstone is Noah's
birth month. Noah even made Mommy a homemade Valentine complete with dinosaur stickers.

Excitedly tearing open his puppy Valentine from Nana, Papa, Masha and
Vika!! He said, "Oh a puppy! He's so cute!"

I took a half day from work on Tuesday the 15
th to take Noah to his Valentine party at
Northhaven, his school. Ms. Abby had it all set up perfectly when we arrived! At each child's seat was baggie filled to the brim with Valentines and sweets!! We had a very nice time filling our tummies and exchanging Valentines. We had pizza and ridiculously delicious homemade cupcakes topped with pink cream cheese icing. (Thank you,
Saradee!) Briggs brought all his friends red heart-shaped balloons with bubbles tied to the end.

Sweet Ellie.

Birthday Boy
Jace.

Adorable
Haddee.

His Buzz and Woody pencil from Anthony has now become a rocket ship.

Noah loves being in the Three's class. He has really awesome teachers who care so much about him having fun and about him learning.

It wouldn't have been complete without seeing
Kynlee during the Valentine's party! She came down to play, too!

Our favorite Valentine came from
Haddee. It read, "May the Lord direct your heart into the love of God." ~2 Thessalonians 3:5

Noah made a haul! Valentine's Day was a success. We are blessed to be loved by so many people!
