Noah just hit 75 tickets on the "Ball Game"!

Cody came home from the station exhausted so we all made it a lazy morning playing
hookie from church so Cody could sleep while Noah and I stayed in our
jammies. For lunch we all threw on some sweatpants and headed to Hey Day to play games and eat pizza. We had a blast. Noah loves to play games at Hey Day. We get him a cup of coins and he's off shoving them into the slots and anxiously waiting to play whatever arcade game it is. He really likes the "Dragon Game" where you shoot a coin into the dragon's mouth. He likes the "Bee Game", too. You have a scoop (much like a
ladle) where you try to catch as many bees (little yellow and black balls) in your scoop and dump them into the honey pot before time runs out. Cody and Noah like driving the
NASCAR game. I love Skeet Ball. The best game for your money is the "Ball Game". A large bouncy ball drops down from a shoot and bounces around until it falls into whatever hole for a certain number of tickets. At the beginning of January, I took Noah after work to Hey Day. On his very first try, the bouncy ball landed in the #75 hole! Cody and I took Noah for a mid-week family fun day a few weeks before this trip and Noah got the ball in the #100 hole! He's so lucky at this game! Well on this day, Snow Day #6, he wasn't so lucky...We were getting #7, #1, #3 and the most, #10. Lame, I know. So we blew our coins on other games. We had two coins left. Daddy went to the ticket counter to start counting our tickets while Noah and I tried one more time to win it big at the "Ball Game". First coin we hit #75! I shrieked so loud that Noah jumped! Then our very last coin we hit #25! Our biggest win of the day! Every time we go, I like to compete and try to beat our last ticket totals. This time we only got 329 tickets; not beating our last total of 422 (pictured above) which we got a plastic Samurai sword and two miniature dinosaurs with. We decided to keep our tickets this time and let them add up instead of cashing them in for miniature dinosaurs and army men. Noah always gets those. We have quite a collection. We have our eyes on a
Cars bowling game anyway. Upon asking the young worker helping with prizes if we could keep our tickets for later, he offered two miniature dinosaurs to Noah at no charge. We've found a new strategy, folks! Keeping your tickets and having an adorable two-year-old boy gets you free stuff at Hey Day! Next time you go, you should try it!
