We have had a whirlwind of a spooky holiday! We really celebrated this
ghoulish day with lots of festivities! We have lots of pictures to share, so we'll keep our words brief and let the photos do most of the talking!

First, we went to my best friend Abby's neighborhood carnival at the Cobblestone golf course and country club. It was really done up for all kinds of fun with two giant moon bounces, food and beverages, coloring tables and lots of children running around in their costumes. Abby and I dressed Noah as Diego from the Nick Jr. cartoon
Go, Diego, Go! and
Kynlee as a baby giraffe.

Noah immediately ran off to the castle moon bounce. He was such a big boy. He hung with all the elementary-age kids. He loved being tossed about and figured out how to climb the tower to go down the slide (with minimal help from Mom). It was quite the stretch for his little legs up the tower steps. He is so strong. I gave him a little nudge the first couple of times, but once he figured out he could do this on his own, away he went! So brave! He was too cute because he would turn around and slide down on his tummy.

The obstacle course moon bounce was too difficult for Noah, but he was a trooper and willing to try. I'm not sure why I look so terrified in this picture...

First experience with cotton candy. Only one bite. Too sweet and sticky...

Inside of the traditional trick-o-treating, it was more like an egg hunt, but with candy.

Noah was more impressed with the open yard to run, prance and roll in than the candy...Good thing because Mom and Dad would have eaten all his candy anyway...We don't need any either...

Noah and I spent a warm fall afternoon last week playing at a nearby park while Cody trekked off into the woods to hunt -one of his few opportunities during Black Powder season. Noah and I had fun sliding and racing. There was a small pond at this park too complete with a family of ducks. You know how much Noah loves ducks! He about barrelled off into the water after them!

My department dressed for Halloween at school the next day. Mrs.
Higley, Ms.
Grissom and I were the Three Blind Mice complete with glasses, painted noses and walking canes...

Halloween afternoon we attended our neighbors', Sophie and Olivia, first birthday party. Their mommy and daddy had the house all spooky and bright for little goblins to party. During presents, Noah was insistent he help inspect each gift. He was right up front with the girls.
All in all, this halloween was spooktacular! Many memories were made! Hope your Halloween was as wonderful as ours.
(Thank you, Abby, for all the pictures!)
