Olivia's Monkey Munchkins

Recently, we participated in the OKC Buddy Walk - a fundraiser to raise awareness and funds for the Down Syndrome Association of Oklahoma. We were part of Olivia Tatum's Monkey Munchkins Team for the third year. Daddy had to work, so Noah and I headed to the Bricktown Ballpark for a day of fun!

The fire trucks and police cars were set up right outside the gate to the ballpark. Noah wanted to see the motorcycle. The nice policeman was very kind and let Noah wear his helmet. We played a few games and got a few trinkets as prizes before meeting up with Olivia and her team for our group picture.
While we waited in line to have our picture taken, Noah occupied Sophie, Olivia's twin sister, with games on the iPhone. They were so cute playing together.

This was Olivia's first year to walk the Walk all by herself. She happily scooted along and Noah walked right beside her. We did one lap around the ballpark.
At the end of the walk, every child got a medal.

Noah and I had a great time. It was great to see Sophie, Olivia and their mommy and daddy. Since we moved away, we don't see them much anymore. We were so honored to be part of Olivia's team this year!!
