Noah's First Airplane Ride

My cousin Katie got married on October 8th. She asked Noah to be her ringbearer and me to stand up with her as a bridesmaid. Of course we said yes!! Mimi bought plane tickets and she, my sister, Kristin, Noah and I hopped a two-hour flight via Delta Airlines two days before the wedding so we could attend. We figured splurging on tickets would give us more time with the family on this weekend trip making the 17-hour drive. Noah was super excited to ride on a big airplane! Getting to the airport early was probably the hardest part because he had to be patient in boarding the plane. Once on the plane, Noah was in awe of the spaciousness of it. Well to a three-year-old a plane does seem spacious! Ha! Take off was exciting. He kept hollering, "Wee" as we climbed higher and higher into the clouds. The flight attendant hooked Noah up with Sprite and lots of snacks. We played a few games, read some books and played dinosaurs before Noah got tuckered out and napped. He slept all the way through landing. He was a great little flyer. We landed in Minneapolis, rented a car and drove one hour north to Siren, Wisconsin to see and stay with Grandma Stoner, my mom's mom.
Wisconsin is simply beautiful this time of year with the leaves changing colors. It was more picturesque than Oklahoma, that's for sure.
Our first night at Grandma's family came to have dinner and play. Uncle Keith, my mom's brother, and Aunt Debbie, his wife, came to color with Mimi and Noah. Grandma showered Noah in gifts - one being these very silly glasses. We had a nice evening with the fam.

We were very much looking forward to a weekend with family. Enjoy the video of Noah on his first airplane ride below.
