T-ball has begun! My only question is why is it that every sport Noah plays, the very first practice and/or game has TERRIBLE weather? The first soccer game was horribly cold and the first T-ball practice brought rain! But we don't let the weather keep us from playing the game!!

Though the first practice for the Thunder T-ball team was short due to rain, it didn't stop Noah or his 9 team mates from getting in a little hitting practice and ball handling. Coach Webb showed each batter how to measure then swing. Coach
Waldenville and Coach Meek helped the outfielders learn how to catch balls using their gloves and throw the balls to First Base. (Cody is the 'assistant coach', but really all the daddies are the assistant coaches.)

The kids look so cute with their batting helmets on. The helmets overtake their little heads and make their bodies look even more miniature than they are! Noah really likes to smack the ball - including the tee. He leaves nothing standing in his wake as batter.
T-ball is a better sport than soccer especially since it's more organized. It is nothing like herding cats. There are two innings. Every player gets a hit and the last batter gets a
home run so every player runs the bases. There are coaches at each base directing the kids where to run. One team bats while the other plays the field-duh. The two hardest things to learn are 1.) which base to run to each time and 2.) how to let the ball go to the closest fielder. All the kids want to run and get the ball. Noah finds T-ball more enjoyable than soccer. He gets so serious and concentrates.

Mason was rounding Third toward home with the help of his mommy! Go Mason!

Gotta love

Rylan at First base. What an arm!

I can just tell T-ball will be so fun to watch this summer! Noah puts on his game face and gets serious about playing ball. It really makes Cody proud, too. So bring on the Thunder!!! It's game time!
