Thursday Nights = Gymnastics!

This semester Noah is taking gymnastics at Bart Conner's. He is totally siked! He calls it 'nastics' class! His friend, Kynlee, is there, too. She is in the one-year-old class, but should be in Noah's class because she can keep up with all the 18-months and two-year olds! Noah is the oldest in his class. He loves the rings and the bars the best. On the bars he has to kick a red balloon by swinging his feet. He likes to be in the pit and throw the blue foam cubes at Mommy. He could already do a somersault, but is very interested in doing a cartwheel. He practices his positions at home-tuck, pike and straddle. Tuck is where he sits and pulls his knees up to his chest with his feet still on the floor. Pike is where he sits down with his legs straight out in front of him. And of course, straddle is where his legs are stretched out in a V like a semi-splits. He listens to his teacher, Ms. Teresa. He is always first in line to do the next activity. His teacher tells the other students to watch Noah and do what he does. Noah has pretty good coordination and an understanding of how to do each obstacle or activity. We look forward to Thursday evenings!
