Celebrating Earth Day

For Earth Day, Cody took Noah to the OKC Zoo with some other firefighter dads and their kids. They had a blast roaming around, visiting the new Children's Zoo, walking the Oklahoma Trail with bats, deer and wolves...and seeing the "big cats". Noah walked the WHOLE time. Such a big boy. Cody raved about home well behaved Noah was the entire time.

Noah was accompanied by four other firefighter children - all girls! From left to right: Autumn Jones, Emma Morris and Jade and Ryley Hart.

(to the left) Face planted looking at the "big cats" aka...lions.
To wrap up the day, Cody and I took Noah to see Disney's Oceans at the Warren Theater. The movie is an exploration into all things life under water. Everything from crabs to sea turtles hatching to killer whales to seals to strikingly beautiful fish to creatures we never want to swim in to...We did up Noah's first cinematic adventure right with popcorn and a drink! He snacked and snacked. He practically ate the whole thing! Well Momma and Daddy helped a little. We left with about 20 minutes of the movie to go. We decided going in this was for Noah and when he was ready to leave, we would. He did well lasting an hour! He did enjoy see the 'fishies' on the big screen.

And this is pretty much how it is at our house these days. Lots of busy-ness and tired boy and parents. School is winding down, but things seem to be picking up regardless for me. Cody is getting at least one round of golf in a week. Either meeting his brother in Tulsa or driving to Dallas to play with friends. Other exciting news? Noah has pooped in the big potty TWICE! We are hoping this is a start to a toddler milestone!!
