Hanging with the Tatum Twins

Noah and I spent yesterday afternoon swimming with Amanda, our neighbor, and her twin 8-month old girls, Olivia and Sophie. The Tatums used to live right next door to us, but built a newer house in the back of the addition. So they've moved on to a different street. Amanda is a supermom. I don't see how she lugs around all this stuff (two car seats, two floaties, two changes of clothes, two bottles, etc, etc...) AND the two girls! She makes it look so effortless and easy!

Noah liked playing "bye bye" game we made up with Nana on the steps today. Olivia wasn't very happy at this moment. Her canopy to her floaty had blown off.

Olivia is such a laid back girl!

Sophie is busy and happy!

It had been a while since Noah spent time with the girls. We swam at Amanda's in-laws' house. It was a very sunny afternoon and the pool was warm, but the kids didn't seem to mind. Sophie and Noah loved making splashes while Olivia vegged out and just floated around. Noah did enjoy another ride in his car floaty. That thing is becoming infamous! Before we got in the pool, Noah was in the car ready to go as it laid on the floor of the living room!

Noah had his first kiss, too! After swimming, we came in so the girls could eat. Sophie and Noah were rolling around on the tummy mat in the nursery while Olivia ate. And Noah rolled over and laid one right on Sophie!! It was a fun-filled afternoon. We hadn't even pulled out of the drive and Noah was conked out.
