Little Frog

Noah had his first dose of summer fun today. Cody blew up a little froggy pool with the air compressor because it was going to take way too many human huffs and puffs. We filled up the pool and hooked up the water hose to create the spraying fountain on the front of the pool and off he went. At first, he didn't quite know what to do. It took him a few minutes to get acclimated to this new, fun toy. But it didn't take long before he was splashing and giggling! Noah really liked the fountain. He would catch the water with his hands to block the water from coming out and then he would let go sporadically and let it shoot out in spurts. He also liked to stick his face in it to get a drink. The first time was a shock for him! He didn't expect it to be so cold. It took his breath away! And how cute was he in his little swimming trunks? He looked like a little man. We also had the bubble machine going in the backyard. Too many bubbles created quite a residue on the patio. Cody started to wash it off, but all the water reactivated the bubbles! It was a slippery mess. Noah thought it was hilarious to slide around and have Daddy spray him with the hose. It was going great until thunder clouds started rolling in. The sun went bye-bye and it began to sprinkle. Our day at the lily pad was over. Until next time!!
