Noah CAN NOT catch a break. For the last two weeks he has been fighting a double ear infection! The first week was rough as we thought it was teething. He never once pulled at his ears, the tell-tale sign of an ear infection. So after his temp reached 104 degrees, I figured it was time to call the doc. The past week has been MUCH better as Noah's wonderful charismatic attitude has returned. Thank goodness! Starting yesterday (Thursday), Noah had this wierd pimply rash across his cheeks when Cody and I went to pick him up from day school. Throughout the evening, the pimples grew in numbers and began tickling down his chest, back, arms and onto his legs. They even run up one of his ears! These little pimples do not bother Noah in the least. He doesn't even know they are there! I called the nurse (which wasn't much help) and was told to apply hydrocortisone cream (which that isn't helping much either!). Now today (Friday), the pimples are definitely a rash. The apples of his cheeks are red. He looks like a miniature Santa Claus! So I've continued the cream. I've cleaned his face every chance he will let me. We went outside to play hoping a little sunshine would be good remedy. We played in the infamous sandbox, turned on the sprinkler (for the first time - man, was that a blast!), played fetch with Rocky, chased bubbles from the Bubble Maker and rode on the four-wheeler. Sun didn't seem to help the little rash, but it did help put a smile on my little boy's face!
