Busy Weekend

Man! This weekend has been jampacked with lots of fun activities! Friday Cody worked at the fire station, so Noah and I went for a visit. Saturday we all slept in until 9:30 am. (That never happens!) Cody met a friend for a game of racquetball in the afternoon while Noah and I played and cleaned house. Saturday evening Cody and I had dinner alone at Cheddar's in Norman and then we went on a double date with friends to see Star Trek. We sat about three feet away from the screen, so we all had cricks in our necks by the end of the movie! We were so close, in fact, Cody read the left side of the screen and I read the right. Then we whispered what each side said to each other. Sunday I sang at church. Noah and Cody came to the late service where Noah started to run a low grade fever. Cody took Noah home and I stayed for the all-church lunch and tour of the new East Campus location. Most of the rest of the day was spent holding Noah. He's running a fever and just not feeling right. Cody played another game of racquetball and took the Scout for a Sunday drive. We did take some time to play with friends at Andrew's Park and have a picnic in the nice weather. Noah and I spent most of the time at the park in the swing going back and forth and back and forth. I swang. He slept. In all it's been a fun-filled weekend for us, but not so much for Noah. We look forward to restful summer weekends.
