Springtime Joy

This spring has been such a special time for us to be with family, extended and just the three of us.  Easter weekend was very busy, but fruitful for me working for the church.  We had 8,000 people come through our church doors and 101 salvations for Christ!  Since I was at the church the whole weekend, Cody and Noah headed to Seminole to be with his parents and sisters.  Lots of egg dying and fishing took place.  Noah loves going to see his Nana and Papa.

Dying eggs with Victoria.

In early May, Noah was honored to be a part of April and Clint's wedding as one of their ring bearers.  April and Clint are very special to us.  I work with April at Journey and Clint plays drums for our worship team.  It was wonderful and joyous to witness such a union of two people devoted to each other, but devoted to God first.  We had a great time celebrating their wedding bliss!

To wrap up the semester of choir at McFarlin Church, Noah and all the kids involved in children's choir put on a musical about the red letters of Jesus in the New Testament.  I know this is a TERRIBLE picture.  You can see Noah in it, but the most interesting and entertaining part of the program was the kid behind Noah.  He played with his belly button the ENTIRE time.  There must have been some serious lent in there!!

Couldn't be more proud that Noah is taking interest in music, or at least going along with it for my sake.  He'll start piano lessons this summer.  :)

I'm proud to say we are FINALLY putting in landscaping in the front flower beds.  My sweet, endearing hubby has worked his booty off cleaning out and preparing the beds for shrubs, trees and flowers.  We are about half done and things are small, being new plants and all, but we are thrilled with how it's all turning out!  The property where we live is a labor of love that we sow into as often as we have time...and energy...and money.  I can't take much credit for it.  It's mainly been Cody's hard work and vision for our home.  I couldn't be more proud.
