Cody is 34! I swear every year he gets more handsome. Age looks good on him. I had a big day planned for my man's birthday. First things first, a little scavenger hunt to find his birthday presents. I set up ten clues around the house leading him to the final destination. One clue contained Noah's gift to Daddy - a light saber. Now the boys can fight! Noah got one from his friend, Mason, for his birthday. Since March Noah has wanted to get one for Daddy. He was suppose to keep it a secret, but he's four. Secrets don't work well with four year olds. It was no surprise, but still lots of fun.
The final clue led Cody to the Scout were his gifts from me were kept - a new golf bag and golf shoes. Cody is going on his annual golf trip to Alabama with his brother at the end of May, so this was the perfect gift.
Then we headed to Seminole for the Goodnight Family Reunion at St. Crispin's. We ate, cut birthday cake, played volleyball and basketball before heading back to Norman for Cody's real birthday party.
About a month ago, we preordered tickets to the Avengers movie at the Warren Theater in the Director's Suite which is a smaller theater seating only 44 people with full service bar and restaurant at your seat. Your seats are also heated, recline and very comfortable. There were 24 of us total watching the movie. Then afterward, a few of us headed to Louie's for after-dinner drinks. Cody had a great time. Thank you everyone who helped celebrate Cody's day!!
