Fort Noah

My good friend, Stephanie, asked if I'd want the box from her husband's new grill to build a fort for Noah. I thought it was a fab idea! And so the legend of fighting white dragons and rescuing princesses began...
We took an ordinary cardboard box...spray painted it black...

Put on our scrubs...

Got out the Tempra paint and brushes...

And Fort Noah was built.

Noah and I had a blast designing the fort. (I'm pretty proud of it if I don't say so myself.) It is complete with mini windows, a roof with a sunlight, door with a hinge and a secret window to spy on approaching white dragons. I asked Noah what he wanted to name his fort. He replied, "Fort Noah." So why not, right?

We had a blast playing in the fort the last few warm days of fall. We fought a lot of white dragons (aka Rocky our dog) and saving princesses (aka Addie our female dog). The fort possesses magical powers, too. So magical, in fact, no one can enter unless Noah says so...

Dragons (aka Rocky) are NOT allowed, but we still have to be nice. So No Dragons Please. Bet you can't guess where the secret window is? You know. The one we use to spy on approaching white dragons?

In short, Fort Noah has been a lot of fun for us. I love being the mommy of an imaginative two and a half year old boy. I can't wait to go on our next adventure together.
