I Wanna Pay Goff!

Cody and I took Noah for a little family fun at Hey Day. First we hit the arcade and played skee ball, Alison's favorite and practiced our high speed driving on the Nascar game. Then we hit the course for a round of golf. Noah enjoys playing his verison of golf - wacking anything round with his golf club. Lately, he has learned from watching golf on TV with Daddy that the tiny ball is suppose to go in the hole. When they watch golf, Noah will cheer for the golfer when he makes it or say sorrowfully, "Oh missed it" when the ball doesn't get in its hole. We figured he's old enough now to enjoy some putt putt. We were right. He loved every minute of it! At each hole, Daddy would go first so Noah could watch what to do. Noah would cheer for Daddy each time. Then Noah would take off and place his ball really close to the hole. We'd have to call him back to the tee box. Such a cheater...

Daddy would help Noah hold the club and hit the ball. Once the ball stopped rolling, Noah would pick up his ball and then place it really, really close to the hole. He made it every time. :) On one hole, Noah almost made a hole in one without cheating, but the ball bounced off the flag pole. Daddy did a really good job on his putting game as well. He made it in 2 shots on each hole. After our golf game, we went back in to the arcade and played a few more games. We collected 50 tickets. While deciding what to get with our tickets, a couple came up to Cody and gave him their 500+ tickets. They said our son would enjoy the prizes more than they would. What a sweet and kind blessing. Noah was thrilled to get the dart gun and the bouncy ball he had his eye on as well as the tiny blue puppy and army men figurines he now uses to fight off tiny dinosaurs at home. Needless to say, when we drive by Hey Day now, Noah shouts from the back seat, "I wanna pay goff!" I think we have a future golfer on our hands.
